The Negative Consequence of Teacher Directed Violence to Student Learning

چکیده

The study explores the experiences of secondary school teacher-directed violence. Violence directed at teachers can have a negative attitude towards their job, as well not performing to expectations. Thus, it is important increase knowledge regarding violence educators experience it, so be able work preventively and minimise guided by ınterpretative phenomenological analysis which seeks understand Interviews were conducted with 10 from various schools neutral venue outside respondents’ homes. Analysis revealed five main themes, namely absenteeism due fear, fear for safety, teacher turnover result violence, harassment, intimidation. findings that more serious acts on affected performance school. If addressed, this problem has capacity render education system dysfunctional. In conclusion, authorities must act against threat in order normalise situation throughout country.
